We give thanks for the gift of families. We give thanks for those people who, whether by birth or choice support and nurture us through life's journey

The prayers and sympathy of the congregation are extended to the family and friends of  Sam MacKinlay who passed away, Sunday, May 13, 2012.

A Memorial Service Celebrating SAM's  life will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, May 31, 2012 commencing at 1:00 pm.

"We stand on the EDGE of a new day. The world is changing and that change puts enormous stress on the church. At the same time there is a greening edge of emerging ministry practice that is shaping vital, innovative and growing ministries. On May 20th, Robert Dalgleish, Executive Director of EDGE: A Network for Ministry Development will be preaching at St. Paul's. EDGE is a new initiative of the General Council of the United Church to focus resources on ministry renewal and new ministry development. Rob will be sharing both challenge and hope as he preaches "Write the Vision" based on the Habakkuk 1:1-4, 2:1-3. Don't miss it!"

St. Paul’s United Church is a diverse congregation striving to be an inviting, accepting and caring Christian community where one feels welcomed, valued and loved.  Our personal faith is founded in God as revealed through Jesus Christ and sustained through the Holy Spirit.

It is nurtured through worship, music, study, discussion, activities and fellowship. Enthusiasm for our faith encourages us to serve the community and the world in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
